(Bobby was a former coach of the Women's Premier team for 9 years (this is the longest tenure for a coach of the Club's Premier team, Men or Women, since North Wellington AFC was founded in 1972)).
A message about Bobby and his time with the Club was read out by his daughter Roz Wallace (former player & coach of the Women's Premier team), supported by long-serving players Lisa Chafe & Shona MacKay.
The Bobby Wallace Trophy was presented by Roz Wallace as the re-named Bobby Wallace Memorial Trophy. (This trophy has been awarded since 2003 to the top goal-scorer for all Women's teams.)
