Darren Lee made his 100th league appearance for the North Wellington AFC Mens Premier team on Saturday 13th May 2006 against Island Bay United at Wakefield Park in the Capital Premier league. Darren is the 21st player to achieve the distinction of 100 or more league appearances for the Club since our foundation in 1972.
Darren has played as a midfielder for the Premier team every season since his debut in 1998 (except for 2004 when he played for local Wellington club, Olympic), became captain of the team this season and has scored 13 league goals to date. Additionally he has also scored 1 goal for the Club in the Chatham Cup.
The Club congratulates Darren on achieving this milestone in his career with the Premier team.
